Construction
Cut from solid acrylic sheet, so the face is flat and the edges are square rather than domed. Each character is supplied with a quality 3M adhesive already applied.

Workshops running replacement plates day to day. It gives the raised 4D look customers ask for while staying easier to fit and less exposed to knocks than 5mm.

3mm is a separate item from 5mm with its own code, so quantities never get mixed between thicknesses. Order any number of any character.
Questions about 3mm acrylic
- Is 3mm noticeably raised?
- Yes — it stands clear of the plate and casts a visible edge shadow, but it sits closer to the plate than 5mm.
- Can I mix 3mm and 5mm on one plate?
- We would not recommend it. Mixed thicknesses on one registration read unevenly from an angle.
- Does 3mm fit a curved plate?
- Acrylic is rigid, so it wants a flat blank. On a curved mounting area, 3D gel flexes better.
