Number plate supplies for Leeds
West Yorkshire · England
Leeds falls under the Y memory tag for Yorkshire, issued through the Leeds and Sheffield offices. Y is the deepest line for West Yorkshire workshops, and the county's size means Y characters get used at a rate few other regions match.
Registration letters issued here
Y (Yorkshire), with M from across the Pennines and N from the north east
Yorkshire's Y tag is issued across a broad second-letter range covering Leeds, Sheffield and Beverley, so Y appears with almost any following letter.
West Yorkshire has a dense independent garage trade, so mixed orders of gel and 4D acrylic in the same basket are the norm here.
Leeds sits close enough to the north east that N-tagged vehicles are routine, which is worth holding stock for.
How ordering works from Leeds
- Posted, not collected. We have no branch, counter or collection point in Leeds or anywhere else — everything travels by Royal Mail Tracked 24.
- Same-day dispatch. Orders placed before our daily cut-off leave the same working day.
- Delivery priced by weight. Characters are 30g each and plate blanks 300g, so the rate is calculated from the parcel, not your postcode.
- Components only. We supply characters and blanks. We do not make or sell finished registration plates.
Questions from Leeds customers
- Do you supply Yorkshire garages on trade terms?
- Our prices are the same flat per-character prices for everyone, so there is no separate trade application to make.
- Which second letters follow Y locally?
- Leeds, Sheffield and Beverley each hold their own ranges within the Y tag, which is why Y turns up with so many different second letters.
