What are ghost number plates?
Ghost characters are built like a 4D acrylic character but with a raised outer perimeter edge standing proud of the face. The centre stays solid deep black, so the character reads as a defined block with a bright edge line rather than as an outline.
How they are made
The body is laser-cut acrylic with a flat solid-black centre, and the outer perimeter is finished as a raised glossy edge.
There is no thickness choice in the ghost range — one specification, across every letter and digit.
How they look fitted
In daylight the raised edge picks up light around the outline of each character while the centre stays flat black.
Against a white reflective blank the effect is a sharp, high-contrast character with a visible perimeter highlight.
